About Chesca

Chesca Marienthal is an assistant instructor for Apollo Equestrian LLC. As of May of 2024 Chesca graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors of Science in Equine Science. Her riding career started when her parents sent her to a horse camp at the age of six and that’s where her passion for riding truly started! As an avid horse rider Chesca strives to always continue her education through riding with other trainers and auditing/attending clinics herself.  During her riding career she has primarily been trained in the hunter/jumper discipline and dabbled in the western ranch work. Her most recent accomplishment has been through the CSU Right Horse class where she and a fellow student trained a young three year old horse named Zimbabwe to be able to work under saddle with the hopes of being a prospect for low level dressage and jumping. Chesca’s future goals include continuing to grow her education in the saddle as well as on the ground, assist in training horses, and continue to share her love of horses with all! 

 

As a riding instructor Chesca strives to create an all inclusive environment for riders. She particularly loves watching students connect with horses, improve their riding skills, and build relationships with fellow students. She enjoys teaching all different levels of riding and is actively engaged in helping them reach their riding goals. As a graduate of the CSU Equine Science program she hopes to share the knowledge she has gained to each and everyone of her students. 

 

When Chesca isn’t training/working horses or teaching lessons you can find her hanging out with friends and family, riding her horse Lucy, walking her dog Stella, or spending time with her two cats Toulouse and Marcel.
